Day 01
-USA/Canada
Spend the night on the overnight flight to Shanghai. You will lose 12 hours by the time crossing International Date Line.

Day 02
-Shanghai (D)
Hotel: Four Season Hotel (5 star)

This afternoon, you will arrive in Shanghai - the economic heart of China.  Upon arrival, transfer to FOUR SEASON HOTEL (5 star deluxe – very centre location, close to commercial centre).                             

Your first day of sightseeing in Shanghai will start from the Bund. Along the waterfront you will see the European-style architecture of the buildings that once housed the institutions of the colonial powers in the 19th century. You end your full-day sightseeing tour with a stop at the Jade Buddha Temple.

Tonight, you are sure to enjoy the amazing contortion and acrobatic show in Portman Ritz Carlton Hotel.

Day 03
-Shanghai (ABF, L, SD)
Hotel: Four Season Hotel (5 star)

Begin your day with a visit to the Old Town and walk down its narrow lanes past traditional buildings to the once private Yu Yuan Gardens.

After lunch, you will make a visit the Shanghai National Museum. There you will find artifacts that span the length of China’s history and reveal its cultural traditions.

A special dinner will be booked for you in The Bund #3 Restaurant
 
Day 04
-Shanghai / Zhujajiao / Shanghai (ABF, L)
Hotel: Four Season Hotel (5 star)

Begin with a half-day excursion to Zhujajiao, a fan-shaped "water village" with ancient stone bridges and buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1368 – 1911).

The afternoon is at leisure, and the day ends at an amazing contortion and acrobatic show in Portman Ritz Carlton Hotel

Day 05
-Shanghai / Hangzhou (ABF, L, SD)
Hotel: Hyatt Regency Hotel (5 star)

A short journey over land will bring you to Hangzhou, one of the seven ancient capitals in China during the 12th and 13th Century Southern Song Dynasty.

This afternoon we board a private boat for a cruise on beautiful West Lake, "Pearl of the City." Afterwards, you will also climb the Flying Peak, a typical Chinese pagoda on top of the hill offering a magnificent bird view of the city.

Tonight, a special dinner featuring local flavor will be prepared for you in LOUWAILOU restaurant, an establishment with more than 700 years’ history.

Day 06
-Hangzhou (ABF, L)
Hotel: Hyatt Regency Hotel (5 star)
 
Hangzhou was called “a Paradise on Earth” 1,300 years ago. The Venetian traveler Marco Polo, after visiting Hangzhou, called it “the most beautiful and splendid city in the world”.

You will visit the nation’s famous West Lake Botanical Garden, lingering along the zigzag path; you may find the same scenery that can be found in traditional Chinese painting. Your last stop in the Dragon Well Tea Plantation will let the farmers demonstrate you how they prepare the world- famous “Dragon Well Tea”.

After sunset, you may stroll along the lakeshore where you will behold the spectacular night view of the West Lake.

You may arrange your own dinner at any restaurant near the hotel.

Day 07
-Hangzhou / Guilin (ABF, L)
Hotel: Sheraton Guilin Hotel (5 star)

In the morning, you visit the Zhejiang Provincial Museum and the Temple of General YUE FEI.

In the afternoon, fly to China’s most scenic city – Guilin and transfer to your hotel on the banks of the Li River.

Day 08
-Guilin (ABF, L, D)
Hotel: Sheraton Guilin Hotel (5 star)

Today, cruise in an air-conditioned river boat on the Li River, where every turn offers breathtaking new views of vertical limestone peaks covered with trees, weathered stone pinnacles, caverns, soft bamboo groves, and other pastoral landscapes that have inspired so much Chinese art and poetry. You spend the whole afternoon in the rural village - Yangshuo, a small town 100 km away from Guilin, to have a better study of Chinese farmers’ real daily life.

Day 09
-Guilin / Xian (ABF, L)
Hotel: Hyatt Regency Hotel –Xian (5 Star)

Best known for its immortal stone mountains, Guilin also is noted for fantastic caves, and this afternoon you’ll explore the finest Reed Flute Cave, full of oddities and historic treasures. Also you will visit the Fubo Hill, Elephant Trunk Hill & farmer’s free market.

You will board a late afternoon flight to Xian, one of China's most historic cities as well as the Ancient Chinese Capital thousands years ago. Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the airport & transferred to the HYATT REGENCY HOTEL (5 star – located within five-minutes walking distance to the Ancient City Wall Gate).

Day 10
-Xian (ABF, L, SD)
Hotel: Hyatt Regency Hotel –Xian (5 Star)

Xi’an is a city of unsurpassed importance in China’s history; it is filled with archeological wonders and served as the capital during eleven dynasties. Today's highlight is a visit to the Archaeological Museum, home to more than 6,000 life-size terra-cotta warriors and horses excavated from the tomb of the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty.

In 1974, one of the great archaeological discoveries of the century was made near Xian: the Tomb of QINSHIHUANGDI (the first emperor of Qin Dynasty), and its attendant army of terra cotta warriors.

In the late evening, attend a special dinner program at the Royal Palace Banquet Show.  1300 years ago in one of China's premier cultural entertainment theater restaurant T.Y.G.

 
Day 11
-Xian / Beijing (ABF, L)
Hotel: Peninsula Palace Hotel (5 star) 

This morning, you will tour the Great Mosque, a haven of tranquility tucked into the bustling market areas of Xi’an. Also your day’s itinerary will cover the Ancient City Wall, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Bell Tower.   A Chinese Dumpling Lunch will be arranged for you.

In the late afternoon, you will fly to Beijing, a world-class capital with an extraordinary mix of historic and modern landmarks. Upon arrival you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to PENINSULA PALACE HOTEL (5-star or equivalent hotel, 15 minutes to the Royal Palace – the Forbidden City & Tiananmen Square).

A brief city tour will include: Prince Gong's Palace, the Drum Tower, and old-style courtyard houses still inhabited by Beijing residents.

Day 12
-Beijing (ABF, L, SD)
Hotel: Peninsula Palace Hotel (5 star)

This morning, you will start your tour from the largest public square in the world - the Tiananmen Square, and then enter the intriguing Forbidden City, home of Chinese emperors for more than 500 years.

In the afternoon, you will visit the harmonious Temple of Heaven, one of the best examples of Ming Dynasty architecture in China and also an ornate sanctuary where Chinese Emperors worshiped the Gods.  

Tonight, a special dinner will be prepared at the famous restaurant – Temple Kitchen: www.jinfengguyun.com.

Reserve the evening time for the PEKING OPERA.

Day 13

An unforgettable outing includes a walking tour to the wondrous Great Wall, Mutianyu part, where you will have the chance to climb a portion of this 3,700-mile marvel. Its dramatic steep ridges and narrow valleys will offer several wonderful photo opportunities.

Tonight, feast on the emperor’s cuisine. A Beijing roast duck banquet will be arranged at a leading city restaurant.
 
Day 14

You will enjoy a self-arranged schedule for the whole day. If you would like, our tour guide will be available to take you to the Royal Summer Resort – Summer Palace and the Panda House in the Beijing Zoo.

Day 15
